Theresa is a fisheries biologist and ecologist, specializing in marine, estuarine, and freshwater ecosystems. Her wide-ranging experience includes projects involving restoration, shellfish ecology, eelgrass survey, stream typing, water quality monitoring, sediment and tissue sampling, construction environmental compliance monitoring, and diving. Theresa brings unique expertise in ecological tools used to understand environmental changes such as eDNA, 40 HAZWOPER certification, WDFW forage fish sampling certification, Smith-Root electrofishing operator certification, and proficiency in statistical software. She is also an AAUS scientific diver and has used those skills to understand the ecology at various sites throughout Puget Sound. Theresa is well-versed in environmental planning and permitting, with expertise in the National and State Environmental Policy Acts (NEPA and SEPA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Through her experience interfacing with federal and state agencies, landowners, and other project stakeholders, Theresa has the skills necessary to navigate complex projects effectively.
